Four Canton Fire first responders testify about scene conditions and Karen Read's statements, as defense cross-examinations expose that paramedic Flematti never documented her alleged 'I hit him' admission in any prior report.

JUDGE CANNONE: Any redirect?

2 3:16:05

MR. LALLY: Just briefly on Mr. Kelly. From that video that was just up on the screen — you indicated that when you got to the scene you saw the cruiser and parked sort of behind the cruiser? Correct?

3 3:16:17

MR. KELLY: Around the cruiser, yeah.

4 3:16:19

MR. LALLY: So from that video you didn't see the ambulance that you were driving anywhere in? Correct?

5 3:16:24

MR. KELLY: Correct.

6 3:16:24

MR. LALLY: You have no idea whether or not you were even on scene at that time — that any of those statements that were made in that video were made? Correct?

7 3:16:35

MR. KELLY: Correct.

8 3:16:35

MR. LALLY: Now, as far as patient care was concerned — you, being yourself, firefighter Flematti, firefighter Nuttall, firefighter McLaughlin, firefighter Walsh, firefighter Woodbury — were you all together all the time or were you doing separate things in separate places during the course of your time on?

9 3:16:51

MR. KELLY: Separate things and separate places, yeah.

10 3:16:53

MR. LALLY: So fair to say that everything that you heard may not be everything that someone else that was there from your department that day heard? Correct?

11 3:17:02

MR. KELLY: Correct.

12 3:17:02

MR. LALLY: And conversely, something that someone else heard may not be necessarily something that you were in a position to hear? That correct?

13 3:17:10

MR. KELLY: Correct.

14 3:17:11

MR. LALLY: You were also asked some questions about using the shears and cutting off Mr. O'Keefe's clothing during the ride. Is it your testimony that that was in the back of the ambulance? Correct?

15 3:17:23

MR. KELLY: Correct.

16 3:17:23

MR. LALLY: Was that during the transport or was that prior? Would you be utilizing shears on a patient, cutting off clothing while the ambulance is in transit?

17 3:17:41
18 3:17:42

MR. LALLY: So if it was in the back of the ambulance, that would have been prior to the ambulance leaving the scene and going [unintelligible]? Correct?

19 3:17:59

MR. KELLY: Correct.

20 3:17:59

MR. LALLY: Nothing further.

21 3:18:01

MR. YANNETTI: The only thing I would offer is the video that I played.

22 3:18:09

MR. LALLY: I have it.

23 3:18:11

JUDGE CANNONE: All right, so we will do that. Mr. Clerk — it's already been pre-marked, right?

24 3:18:21

MR. YANNETTI: Okay, I'm sorry it has not been pre-marked.

25 3:18:27

JUDGE CANNONE: All right, so we're all set. Thank you.

26 3:18:39

MR. KELLY: Okay. Thank you.
